Job Details - Job Title: MedSurg Float Pool RN - 12 HR DAYS
- Location: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, GA
- Job Description: Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (OPEN TO 8 or 17 WEEKS)
- Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week - hours not guaranteed week of orientation
- Shift Requirements: 0645 - 1915 EST
- Float Requirements: Yes, to all acute care and cardio
- Weekend requirements: Rotate every other
- Holidays: Must work 2 out of 3 holidays
- On call/Call Back: is rare
- Break: 30 minutes
- EMR: Meditech Expanse: experience preferred but not required
- Education: Associates required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum experience: two solid years on a MS unit, travel preferred
- Patient ratios: Ratios 1:6 for both days and nights
Job Requirements - GA or compact RN license required

- Preferred: AHA ACLS (highly preferred)

Schedule Information - Start date: Biweekly orientation
- Shift Requirements: 0645 - 1915 EST

Unit Specific Information - Patient ratios: Ratios 1:6 for both days and nights
Additional Details - Radius rule: 75 miles
- Float Requirements: Yes, to all acute care and cardio
- Nurse Aides- Yes, CNA's 1:8, generally 1:10, do get as sitters
- Scrub requirement/Uniform: Caribbean blue or white
