Travel Nurse RN

Job Description: RN - Trauma Nurse Position Overview TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Trauma for travel assignments . The Trauma RN will provide rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization for critically injured patients in high-acuity emergency settings . This role requires quick decision-making, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment alongside a multidisciplinary trauma team. Responsibilities Perform rapid triage and assessment of trauma patients. Provide immediate emergency care , including resuscitation and life-saving interventions. Administer IV fluids, blood products, and emergency medications . Assist in intubation, chest tube placement, and other emergency procedures . Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments. Collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, and paramedics . Operate and manage emergency medical equipment . Document patient care and treatment plans accurately. Educate patients and families about post-trauma care and recovery . Participate in trauma drills and continuing education to maintain skills. Qualifications Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license . Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER/Trauma nursing experience . Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and trauma care . Ability to stay calm under pressure and act quickly. Excellent critical thinking and teamwork skills . Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and respond quickly to emergency situations.
