Assignment Details:

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Block Schedules: Not guaranteed
- Scheduling Notes: Schedule is released every 4 weeks
- No flip-flopping between day/night within the same week
- Some shift flexibility required depending on staffing needs
Compensation for 48 hours:
- Weekly Gross: $3,410.00 Per Week
- On W2(Taxable): $960.00 Per Week ($20/hour)
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,450.00 Per Week
Job Description:
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital's first-floor Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position requires strong clinical skills, especially with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), and a solid background in high-acuity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients
- Operate and manage CRRT equipment
- Administer medications, infusions, and other treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for care planning
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient documentation (Epic preferred)
- Float to IMCU (Intermediate Care/Stepdown) as needed
Requirements:
- License: Active Wisconsin RN license or compact license - required at time of submission
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
- Skills: Strong CRRT skills required
- EMR: Epic experience preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA) & NIHSS
- Latex Allergy: Facility cannot accommodate latex allergies
Additional Notes:
- Local Candidates: Accepted at reduced bill rate (must live 50+ miles from facility)
- Travel Pairs: Accepted
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
