Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Henry Ford Rochester Hospital, Rochester, Michigan
Job Summary: Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to lead in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. The role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, alongside delegation, supervision, documentation, and patient/family education. The RN will collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to address patient variances and implement solutions.
Required Skills & Experience: - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective nursing care planning.
- Ability to provide a wide variety of professional nursing services in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - Knowledge of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) (preferred).
Education & Certifications: Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Michigan State Board of Nursing license (active).
- BLS & ACLS certifications (mandatory).
Schedule Details: - Start Date: June 24, 2025
- Estimated End Date: September 20, 2025
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Hours Per Day: 12-hour shifts
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12s)
- Ratio: 2:1
- Scheduling Requirements:
- Must be available for at least one holiday during contract.
- Every other weekend is required.
- One week of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed.
Additional Notes: - Cerner EMR experience: Minimum of 1 year required.
- No Call Requirement.
