Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Point Pleasant, WV
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Compensation for 36 hours: $2,190 Per Week
- Weekly Gross: $2,190.00 Per Week
- On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week ($20/hour)
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,470.00 Per Week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and overflow units.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to changes in patient condition, initiating emergency interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, RTs, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in PACU recovery when needed, ensuring safe post-anesthesia care and monitoring.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required.
- Must complete ICU and PACU skills assessments prior to submission.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred).
- Experience in ICU overflow units and critical decision-making.
- Proficient in managing ventilators, drips, and post-op care protocols.

- Charting System: Not specified (must be adaptable to EMR systems)
- Patient Ratios, Daily Census, Equipment, and Diagnoses: Not detailed; must be flexible to handle typical ICU patient loads
