Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation and Benefits:
• Weekly Gross: $1,936.00 Per Week
• On W2(Taxable): $648.00 Per Week ($18/hour)
• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,288.00 Per Week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Excela Latrobe Hospital. This position involves rotating shifts between day and night, working 3x12-hour shifts (either 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The ICU RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
• Monitor vital signs and manage life-sustaining equipment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Float to other units as needed within the hospital
• Maintain patient safety and provide emotional support for patients and their families
Qualifications:
• Required Licenses: Valid PA RN License or Compact License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC provider cards accepted)
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year ICU experience required
Special Requirements:
• Candidates will need to float within the hospital as needed
• COVID-19 Vaccination Status and Booster Status required
• 2 professional references preferred (supervisor references)
