Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Ohio or covered by compact
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide, coordinate, plan, and evaluate nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Supervise licensed and unlicensed associates in nursing care delivery
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and create care plans
- Administer medications safely and effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and outside agencies
- Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage the physical and emotional demands of emergency nursing care
