Compensation:
Weekly Gross: $ 3,520.00 Per week
On W2(Taxable): $1,000.00 Per Week ($25/hour)
Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2520.00 Per Week
Job Summary: The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing emergency and elective cardiac catheterization procedures including angioplasty, drug-eluting stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and pacemaker implantation. The RN will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care that meets licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
Administer therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology interventions, and pacemaker implants.
Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals in the Cath Lab.
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
Educate patients and families about cardiac procedures and post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)
Current RN license to practice in the state of Nevada (Required)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting (Required)
Recent acute care nursing experience (Required)
Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Highly desired)
Must live within 100 miles of the work location
