Job Summary:

Fide is seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our clinical team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, serving patients of all ages with a wide variety of urgent and emergent conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients with diverse emergency conditions, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral.
• Deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care using evidence-based nursing practices.
• Initiate and manage IV lines, medication administration, wound care, EKG monitoring, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, specialists, and support staff to prioritize and coordinate care.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during high-stress situations.
• Maintain readiness for rapid response and code situations.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in TN
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (Level I or II trauma experience a plus)
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC or ENPC strongly preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and multitasking skills

  
  

Current 2 years of current ED RN experience Current TN RN License Current BLS and ACLS Certifications Additional Certifications may be required Drivers License EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used) Final RTO or any scheduling requests Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment Shift: 07:00-19:00 - Days
