Job Title: RN - Emergency Room (ED) (Travel Contract)
Client: Universal Health Services (UHS) - Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center
Location: Washington, DC (1200 Pecan Street SE)

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (36 hrs/week)

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room RN provides high-acuity care in a fast-paced ED setting, managing urgent, pediatric, psych, and trauma cases. This role requires quick adaptability and adherence to expedited onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver critical care, including medication titrations, arterial line management, and mass transfusions.
  • Coordinate care for diverse patient populations (urgent, trauma, pediatric, psych).
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume ED environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Active DC RN License (must start within 7 days)
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Experience:
    • 1+ year of ER experience (required)
    • Travel experience (preferred)
  • Education:
    • Graduate of accredited RN program (BSN preferred)
Expedited Onboarding:
  • Background check & active DC license required to start.
  • Remaining compliance documents due within 14 days of start.
Work Environment:
  • High-volume ED with urgent, trauma, and psych cases.

This is a local/travel assignment requiring candidates to reside at least locals are welcome as well
