Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Stepdown (IMCU) Shift: 12-hour shifts (Night) Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required Requirements: Experience: Minimum: 2+ years recent acute care experience Mandatory: Surgical Stepdown experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center IMCU/Stepdown experience required Auto med dispensing experience More than one previous travel assignment Telemetry Skills: Must independently read & interpret telemetry rhythm strips Testing: Telemetry test & Critical Care Med test on Day 1 Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required Licensing & Verification: Active MA RN License - Required Preferred Experience: Tertiary facility experience Experience with post-operative patients requiring intermediate care Patient types include Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients Unit Details: 38 beds, patient ratio 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4-5 if MedSurg floor patients
