Position Summary
The facility is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Endoscopy RN to join the Endocrinology team. The nurse will play a vital role in pre-op, recovery (Phase I & II), and IV insertion for patients undergoing procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced unit. The ability to manage 10-12 patients per shift with recovery ratios of 2:1 (when one is awake) is essential. EPIC EMR experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-operative preparation and post-procedure recovery nursing care
  • Insert IVs and monitor patients in recovery (Phase I & II)
  • Manage 10-12 patients per shift, with recovery ratios of 2:1
  • Document care accurately using EPIC
  • Communicate with physicians and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies.

Requirements License: Active NY RN License (required at submission) Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience Certifications: AHA BLS (CGRN preferred but not required) Education: ASN accepted (BSN not required) Charting System: EPIC EMR experience required
