Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Tele - 7 North 48's

Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
  • AL License
  • 2 years' experience
  • Skills Required: Cardiac Monitoring, Colostomy Care, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Heparin/Insulin/PCA Experience, CVA, Respiratory/Thoracic Experience and Wound Care
  • Must pass cardiac exam during orientation
  • BLS
  • EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
  • Skills Preferred: Management of Dysrhythmias, Post Angiogram and Post MI

  • Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
  • Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7.
  • Unit Info 7N cares for a diverse Med/Surg population. The unit is primarily cared for by Hospitalists who have physician or NP coverage 24/7. Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatics Rooms: 42
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

DCH is unable to accommodate RTO requests for the following holiday dates: 11/28, 11/29, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1

Margin/OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs

ITC & perm staff must have been termed for at least 6 months

Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect

Locals are welcome to submit

Specialty: MS/Tele, 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position

Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility - please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting

Experience Required: 2 years

First time travelers are accepted

Every other weekend required

Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)

Certifications required: BCLS
