Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients and performs diagnostic studies per physician orders.
Receives and records radiopharmaceuticals.
Performs daily/weekly QC dose testing.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
Provides images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
Evaluates images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
Processes images for radiologist/cardiologist review.
Able to post process imaging within Xeleris and record information in Nemis.
Effectively utilizes the Electronic Health Record.
Performs NM and Treadmill stress test under direction of the Cardiologist.
Cleans room and work area after every patient on a routine basis.

Must have 3 years recent Nuclear Med Tech experience in a hospital setting.
Must have ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT Registered.
Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association (RQI certifications not accepted).
Must be familiar with GEHC NM Infinia & NEMIS / Xeleris 5.0 equipment.
Must know how to perform Stress Echo and treadmill experience; will work side by side with Cardiologist or ACLS RN.
