About Facility:
o 2001 Vail Ave. Charlotte, NC 28207
o Licensed Beds: 244
ED: 16 beds
ICU: 20 beds
Progressive: 40 beds
No Trauma designation
o Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, with Radiology Nursing support
o TJC Stroke accredited
o Radius rule: Travelers permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
o Our IP Census is typically 100% - 224 patients.
o We perform an average of 7-10 exams per day. No patients are scheduled on weekends. We operate a limited emergent call of 7a-2p on weekends and Holidays.
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o We serve Inpatient, Observation, Outpatient, and ED patients.
o We do not perform any therapy services or PET.
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (N) or NMTCB required.
o BLS

o Guest Services/Transport for IP, ED & Obs patients that require transport to the department

o RIS: Epic Radiant

Orientation (facility and unit) :
o Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review, etc.) - 1 day
o 2 days to 1 week departmental (as needed)
Scheduling:
o Weekends: on call only
o On call? Yes, rotating limited emergent weekend and holiday call 7a-2p.
o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
o RTO: Resource Team approval
