Description:
Nuclear Med Tech needed in PET/CT. Monday-Friday 10:00-18:30. Once trained, schedule will be 4-10H shifts, (likely Monday-Thursday).
1 year of experience required at an academic medical center, preferably with PET/CT experience. No on call.
ARRT (N) or CNMT required. Will need to obtain MA RT license if they do not have already. BLS-AHA required.
The responsibilities include: venipuncture, glucometer operation, operation of Siemens Biograph mCT 64, Medrad Intego automated injector, handling of unit doses of FDG, Posluma, Amyvid, Dotatate, Cerianna, DICOM push of images to MIM and McKesson PACS, scanning of documents, screening of patients prior to exam, proper cleaning of incubation rooms and camera after patient use, stocking of supplies in incubation room and hotlab, computer entry of charges for exam and verification of images on PACS system. Knowledge of and adherence to general radiation safety principles (ALARA) as well as USP .
NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility). Start date: ASAP starts - 4 weeks out for compliance. Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday) NM to interview and offer. Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission.
ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB. Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered. Parking can cost up to $43/day in some cases.
