    Job Details
  • Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
  • Interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors.
  • Acts as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues.
  • Demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
  • Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room equipment, supplies and medications.
  • Maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Job Requirements
  • Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection.
  • Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required.
