Job Title: MRI Technologist
Standard shift: Evenings
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: Sunday - Thursday, 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM EST, on call, callback, holidays as needed Description:
Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.
You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods. Qualifications:
Education:
Must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology Licensing/Certification:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI
NYS license (or able to obtain license prior to starting)
BLS Experience:
Two (2) Years' Experience
Level 1 trauma center experience
Must have GE Scanner
