Job Title: MRI Technologist
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 3x12
Schedule Notes: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM - 12hr shifts Saturday and Sunday (could be 8, 12, or 16 hrs per day) 40-hrs/week Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
Weekend Requirements: Part of shift/Holiday coverage if required
On Call Requirements: Possible Call - Must be willing to take call as needed
Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
Description:
GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler will never work solo
After midnight the department is covered by call.
The MRI Tech will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program - Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences - Preferred
Licensing/Certification:
Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License - Required
ARRT Certification in MRI or Radiography with MRI modality - Required
ARRT (MR) Certification - Required
BLS Certification - Required
Experience:
2 Years current MRI experience
GE Equipment experience - Required
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Traveler must have their own vehicle
