Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure and answering any questions to ease anxiety.
Ensure patients remove metal objects (e.g., jewelry, watches) as these can interfere with the scan.
Position patients properly on the MRI table, using pillows and straps to ensure they remain still during the scan.
Operate the MRI machine to capture high-quality images based on the physician's specifications.
Ensure the MRI equipment is properly calibrated and functioning to avoid errors in imaging.
Adjust scanning parameters (e.g., magnetic field strength, scanning techniques) to obtain the most accurate results.
Requirements:
ARRT
BLS (AHA)
NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
