Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist
As a MRI Technologist, you will:
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns
Position patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in adherence to safety protocols
Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
Stay current on advancements in imaging technology and best practices in radiology
What You Need for This Role
To be considered for the MRI Technologist position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
ARRT Certification (required)
BLS Certification (required)
At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience in a clinical setting
