MRI Technologist (Pediatrics)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Friday-Monday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (4x10s)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Key Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans per physician orders, ensuring safety and comfort of pediatric patients
- Analyze patient histories, assess for contraindications, and screen for pacemakers or metallic implants
- Prepare and administer contrast dyes as needed
- Accurately position patients and operate MRI equipment (GE experience highly preferred)
- Monitor and maintain equipment; schedule servicing as necessary
- Keep MRI suites clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
- Assist in training junior techs and support onboarding of new staff
- Document and escalate issues as appropriate; contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (required)
- Pediatric experience (required)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- Experience with GE equipment (highly desired)
- Scrub Color: Gray
- Must be able to work Friday through Monday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
