SKILLS: Demonstrates a superior level of technical proficiency and problem-solving ability with automated and manual methods: 1) testing for blood type, antibody detection, and complex antibody identification; 2) investigating hemolytic disease of the newborn, hemolytic anemias, and adverse responses to transfusion; 3) supporting physicians in transfusion therapy for patients with coagulopathies; 4) providing compatibility testing and antibody titration studies. REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have at least 2 years of experience (MT only, please do not submit any MLT) (do not submit HCP if the professional has 180-days or longer break in non-clinical employment as they will not be eligible for this position).
• Must have experience working in a Blood Bank.
• Must have either Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT) certificate at time of submission.
• FL license (Immunohematology Technologist) required at time of submission.
• Agility and multi-tasking a must. Cross-training and multi-tasking is required.
• No work history with gaps over 30 days w/o explanation.
• Must have Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count filled out.
• At least 1 References: dated no more than 12 months old. Unit Manager Interviews. Business casual or scrubs. No permeable shoes. Reminder: FL ACHA may take up to 14 business days to process from time of receipt. NO RTO THE FIRST 2 weeks of any NEW Assignment 8 DAYS MAX RTO SUBMISSION FOR A 13 WEEK CONTRACT.
