Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) Job Details This is a MED/SURG position that specializes in post-op GI and wound care. Acute care experience required. Med/Surg and post-op experience required. Must have experience working full time on a post-op unit. Must have a minimum of one travel contract completed to be submitted. 2 years experience required. Job Requirements POST OP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Patient Diagnoses: Pancreatitis, GI bleeds, Bowel obstructions, Bowel perforation, Wound infections, Post Op infections, mass removal, Esophageal perf, GSW, MVC, Diverticulitis Special Procedures: Pancreatectomy, Esphagectomy, Whipple, Spleenectomy, Adrenalectomy, Cystectomy, Colectomy, Thyroidectomy, Mastectomy, Hepatic Resection, Nissen, Bariatric Surgery, TURP, Gastrectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Ex lap Equipment: PEG, PEJ, PCA, Per drain, JP drain, hemo vac, wound vac, nephrostomy tubes, Ileostomy, Colostomy, Urostomy, Colostomy, surgical drains skills preferred. Schedule Information Manager will consider a blocked schedule if candidate is willing to work weekend block Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun Mon rotation. Unit Specific Information Post Op Experience required. Additional Details Current/valid Drivers License/State ID or government photo ID required. Copy must be in color, no black and white copies of document. License Verification required within 30 days of start. All candidates must have an active LA License or Compact License upon submission effective immediately. If LA State License or Compact License expires within 30 days of start, renewal must be completed prior to start date.
