Job Description:
Will be working with ADULTS and the occasional PEDS patient.
Peds experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Adult experience not required.
Must be willing to work with adults and have some general knowledge.
Traveler will not receive additional training other than the initial orientation.
Previous Charge experience preferred
Nurse to Patient Ratio 1:5-6
Prefer 48 hours, but open to 36 hours as well
EOW required; Float required
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS preferred
NC or Multistate License required
Scrubs: Caribbean Blue
EMR: Cerner (experience STRONGLY preferred)
CHARLOTTE METRO AREA - 40 miles outside of Charlotte

MS/MS Tele, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, IV Start (preferred), Medication (Heparin and insulin), Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Isolation Precautions
