Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 yrs OR 1 year with travel experience Traveler Experience required: No, unit accepts 1st time travelers. Skills: MS/tele experience required, telemetry experience preferred, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, use of rapid response teams required, blood product administration required, central line care/management required, peripheral line care/management required, nasal cannula required, non-invasive airway management required, isolation precautions required. Target Ratios: 1:6-7 Shift: 4x12hr NIGHTS (18:45-07:15) Fri-Mon schedule ONLY 48 hours can be offered. No OT billed until after 48 hrs. Float Requirement: Floating as needed. May float to sister unit which has ER holding coverage. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry. Various diagnosis requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures, including medical tele patients. Overflow for winter census.
