Requirements:
- NH License
- 2 years experience
- Must have Med/Surg skillset- head to toe assessment; orthopedic care knowledge; IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol diltiazem and insulin IV or subQ; wound care including drain management and vacs; NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition; central line management- PICC/HD catheter/midlines; foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care; ostomy care; postoperative patient care
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
Other Details:- Documentation system: Altera/Allscripts Sunrise
- Floats to like MST units (D1, F2). Float pool then Travelers generally float first
- Number of Bedfordshire : 48 (average census 27)
- Patient Ratios : 1:5 days; 1:6 nights
- Type of equipment : Hoyer lift, Automated BP machines, bladder scanner, remote telemetry monitoring, vein finder
- Patient Experience requirements: Participation in daily MDRs on day shift /1115. Work with team for promotion of patient care excellence
- Requested Skill Set: telemetry competency strongly recommended, orthopedic and neurology focused care competencies
No required uniform- scrubs and closed toe shoes (no crocs)
