General job duties include assessment and reassessment based on patient needs, synthesizing patient data, integrating care plans, identifying safety needs, executing interventions, providing education, evaluating patient responses, and documenting care according to facility procedures.
Equipment utilized includes Wound Vacs.
Minimum 2 years' hospital Med Surg experience required, with experience in total joint replacements and abdominal surgical procedures.

Floating to other units/departments may be required, specifically to PCU if comfortable and qualified.

Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5 for Med Surg and 1:4 for PCU.
Dress code is Pewter Grey or Light Turquoise.
General orientation for travelers lasts 4 hours, followed by shadowing a floor nurse and 1 shift of orientation with a floor staff.

Candidate must list any required time off during the assignment.
Must have 2 years' Med Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program is required.
State of NE (or multi-state) RN license must be active and in good standing.
BLS - AHA/ARC certification is required.
Willingness to float to PCU is necessary, with 1 year of recent PCU experience preferred.
Candidates should confirm if they are a 1099.
Candidates must live within 50 miles of the location.
Recent EPIC experience is preferred.
