(70%) Performs high quality mammographic examinations with accurate positioning and proper technique by following established standards. Minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. (10%) Demonstrates proficiency in special procedures: needle localizations, radiography of specimens, spot magnification views and/or stereotactic breast biopsies, and Bone Densitometry testing (DEXA) if done in their department. (10%) Shares in daily work related responsibilities such as putting away supplies, stocking linen, and cleaning equipment. (10%) Ensures operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance instructions; troubleshooting equipment; calling for service. Performs daily quality assurance testing and monitoring established by the department in a timely and accurate manner
