Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including medical offices and hospitals. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Experience with eClinicalWorks and familiarity with a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and family planning.
- Document all patient interactions and medical procedures accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in hospital medicine settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Operate medical equipment, including ventilators and DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical documentation systems.
- Knowledge of family planning practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empathy and respect for diverse populations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
