Job Overview

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. This position requires compassion, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.

Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs
Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
Assist in the transportation of patients within the healthcare facility
Follow proper aseptic techniques to prevent infections
Document patient information accurately

Qualifications
Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or relevant healthcare certification
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Experience in memory care, long-term care, pediatrics, or behavioral health is a plus
Familiarity with medical records and documentation
Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
