PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Cytotechnologist Level II for a travel job in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Responsibilities:
-Participate in specialized and complex technical tasks involved in screening slides of clinical specimens for evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions according to departmental terminology and protocols including; marking abnormalities, rendering diagnoses and determining cases for quality control or subsequent review with pathologist.
-Perform various Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols.
-Evaluates acceptability as associated with department testing.
-Participate in the collection, processing and immediate evaluation of Fine Needle Aspirations Apply knowledge of specimen processing techniques to meet department requirements.

Required Education: -Bachelor's Degree or certificate of completion of Cytotechnology. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Cytologist (CT) - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). -BLS-AHA.
