Job Details - LD and Postpartum RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate w/ 1 Night of Call and EOW - 36 or 48hrs.
- Unit Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit.
- Brief Unit Description: 25-Bed Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses: L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR's, 2 RR's and 2 ANU rooms.
- Years of Experience Required: 3 years minimum.
- Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care.
- Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4.
- Patient Population: All.
- Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR's, 2 RR, 2 ANU rooms with 4 beds.
- Census: Average daily census 15-25 mothers, babies and labors.
- EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
- Floating Required: No.
- Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position w/ 1 Night of Call is (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Eves & Nights positions are straight shifts.
Job Requirements - Current Massachusetts RN License.
- BLS, NRP & EFM (every 2 years).
- ACLS (preferred).
Schedule Information - Days/Eves/Nights Rotate w/ 1 Night of Call and EOW - 36 or 48hrs.
- Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position w/ 1 Night of Call is (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Eves & Nights positions are straight shifts.
