What You'll Be Doing:
As an Interventional Radiology Rad Tech, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and imaging services. Your responsibilities include:
  • Patient Preparation & Support: Instructing and preparing patients for procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
  • Collaborating with Radiologists: Assisting Radiologists during procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Operating all radiology equipment with expertise, troubleshooting any issues, and reporting malfunctions.
  • Timely Procedures: Completing assigned procedures promptly and using downtime to assist with room turnover or help colleagues.
  • Documentation & Confidentiality: Ensuring accurate documentation using Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS.
  • Patient & Team Interaction: Providing compassionate care to patients of all ages and collaborating effectively with a diverse team.
Requirements:
  • Certification: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
