Additional Information: Position Description: 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Works together with the physician to perform a variety of specialized procedures in a busy Neuro/CV/Body IR lab. Practices sterile technique. Sterile tray set up.Operates diagnostic imaging equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) 2 biplane rooms and one single plane room Siemens equipment in 2 rooms Cannon in the Neuro focused room. CV hybrid room is Philips. Charting in EPIC using radiant and spacetrax. Sectra. 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. IR CV and Neuro experience as well as vascular and body cases. Prefer at least 3 years IR experience. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT required, ASRT required, BLS required, IN State license required. 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Able to work 40 hours plus call. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. We have 2 IR rooms and 1 Neuro. 1 CV hybrid room. 550 bed Hospital 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) N/A 9. Dress Code: Hospital provided scrubs 10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Our techs usually have 9-12 month training post rad tech school for The IR department. They scrub all cases for IR body and IR neuro and assist the physician throughout the procedure. Additional Comments: Looking for a highly trained IR tech who has at least 3 years IR experience. M-F flex shifts from with weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Able to work 40 hours plus call. Client can call off up to 24 hours per 13 week contract and there are 8 hours of non-billable orientation. Name of Position Requirements - ARRT required. - ASRT required. - BLS thru AHA required. - IN State License required. - 2 years previous experience in Interventional procedures required, 3 years preferred.
