Interventional Radiology Technologist (Level I Trauma) - Bethlehem, PA Interventional Radiology Technologist (Level I Trauma)
Join a large, reputable health network in Eastern Pennsylvania as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, located in Bethlehem, a Level I Trauma Center.
Role & Responsibilities:
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. You will be responsible for:
- Operating advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound) to guide procedures.
- Preparing and positioning patients for vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Assisting in angiography, embolization, stent placements, biopsies, and drain insertions.
- Ensuring radiation safety and maintaining sterile techniques during procedures.
- Collaborating with the trauma, surgical, and critical care teams to provide exceptional patient care.
- Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
- Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab setting preferred.
