- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac, Respiratory
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Acute Care, Critical Care
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: yes, both
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes
- RT in ICU 24/7: Yes
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Yes - all
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: RNs, no MT
- Shifts & Scheduling: or
- Weekend Requirement: yes, every other
- Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor
- Is there a call or standby requirement?: can be placed on call for low census; if placed on call RNs have a 30 minute response time from time of call in to arrival to the unit.
- Floating Requirements: ONA contract requires contract RNs to float first, but work to ensure that floats are completed in turn.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: yes - Black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, khaki
