  • RN / MSIC (TICU) position at Lutheran Hospital
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Orientation includes hospital based learning classes, unit educator meetings, unit tour, online training, and orientation packet
  • Orientation days 2 and 3 spent on unit with preceptor RN
  • Orientation includes time on MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU) and ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU)
  • Patient ratio typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1 for stable patients on rotating basis
  • Floating to other units is required
  • Department scrub color: Navy
  • EMR system used: Cerner
    Job Requirements
  • 3 years of ICU RN experience or more
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH certification
  • Travelers must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected
  • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: Nights, 5p-5a
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU)
  • Unit: ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU)
