Job Details - Intensive Care Unit position at Eastern Maine Medical Center
- Level II Trauma Center
- 26 ICU beds
- Minimum 2 years experience in ICU required
- First-time travelers welcome
- Patient types include Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients
- Patient ratios of 1:2 based on acuity
Job Requirements - BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Neuro and Trauma experience required
- Charge experience preferred
Schedule Information - Weekend rotation: Every other (Dayshift: Sat/Sun; Nightshift: Fri/Sat)
- No on-call schedule
- Holiday expectations vary based on need
- Time off approval through manager
Unit Specific Information - Charge nurse unassigned in critical staffing situations
- Resource Nurse/House Supervisor available 24/7
- RT in house 24/7
- Hospitalist in house 24/7
- Intensivist available for consult 24/7
- Floating to Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) and other units as needed
Additional Details - Free parking in designated areas
- Scrub color: Any solid color, must be professional
