Certification Details - BLS
- Current Illinois RN license
Job Details - General job duties include direct patient care provided to patients in their home, including vital signs, physical assessments (including OASIS), IV care, wound care, lab draws, disease management education, and case management.
- Equipment utilized includes EMR, Protime machines, and vital signs monitoring.
Job Requirements - Home Health experience including OASIS documentation, EMR proficiency, IV and wound care, phlebotomy, and catheter care are required.
- Current Illinois RN license is required.
- BLS certification is required.
Schedule Information - Weekdays with weekend/call/holiday rotation.
- Home Health call is typically 1-3 days after hours, averaging 2 shifts per month.
Unit Specific Information - Training on EMR and company-specific policies for wounds and IV will be provided, with a maximum of 2 weeks of preceptor experience.
