Job Details - The nurse would likely see both home health and hospice patients but predominantly home health patients.
- Traveler must be comfortable with both patient types.
- Average daily census 15-20 patients.
- Possible to only see home health patients if that was their comfort zone.
- Manager will interview before offer.
- Coordinate, oversee, and provide direct patient care to home health and hospice patients in their homes.
- A home health nurse provides curative medical care to patients in their homes that often includes monitoring conditions, hands on care for things like wound care, provide patient and caregiver education, and help to coordinate care.
- A hospice nurse provides specialized care for patients in their home who are in the final stages of a terminal illness.
Job Requirements - BLS required.
- License in hand when applying.
- 1 year experience required.
- No new travelers.
Schedule Information - Shift: (day, nights, evenings)- Days and evening/night/weekend on-call rotating weekends
- Hours: (8,12)- 8-10 hours per day/40 hour week
- Shifts per week: 4-5
