Job Details - Job Overview: Emergency Department RN position at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.
- Job Summary: Seeking an experienced RN for a high-volume Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
Job Requirements - 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting.
- Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time.
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
Schedule Information - Every other weekend required.
- Scheduling must meet the needs of the department.
- No block scheduling available.
Unit Specific Information - Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Attendance policy will be provided on day 1.
Additional Details - Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 101, Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds.
- Unit staffing description includes Techs available, work in cardiac monitoring unit and internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights.
- Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors.
- Documentation system: Cerner.
- Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
