Job Summary:
This position performs diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations with a sub-specialty in fetal cardiac sonography examinations, as well as cardiology procedures to provide data for diagnosis of disease and injuries in accordance with all applicable standards, regulation and licensing requirements. Maintains a close working relationship with fetal cardiologists and nurse coordinators.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; (Sat/Sun) weekend shift that occurs every 18-19 weeks
Experience Requirements:
Candidate must be able to perform complex pediatric congenital echoes as well as fetal echoes.
Six (6) years full time pediatric cardiac sonography.
Must have a proven track record of leadership and commit to leadership activities upon completion of orientation.
Endorsement from fetal echo physicians along with input from the medical directors (echo lab and fetal echo).
Philips Echo machines and Siemens Syngo Dynamics as our PACS system.
Experienced Pediatric cardiac sonographer.
Fetal experience preferred.
Required Documents
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal (RDCS FE).
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
