Echo Technician
Echo Tech Needed for Hospital
$56/hour-Paid weekly. Stipend will be provided
Shift: Monday -Friday 8a-5pm
Fort Myers, FL - Perm address must be 50+ miles from facility
Echo Sonographer for cardiology outpatient location. 1 echo room, Adults 18+, CHF, Afib, Chest Pain, Hypertension, CAD, palpitations. Min of 1 yr experience must be independent. EMR is Epic. Floating required.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- At least 2 years experience is required
Responsibilities:
1) Sets up and adjusts all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exam
2) Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures
3)Performs routine and complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures
4) Recognizes significant, artifacts , pathology and equipment limitations . Will float between inpatient and outpatient clinic.
