PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Cytotechnologist for a travel job in Urbana, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:
- Screen GYN and non-GYN cytology slides for abnormalities and render accurate preliminary diagnoses.
- Participate in the Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) process for Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA), utilizing tele-pathology systems.
- Mark cytologic abnormalities and determine cases for pathologist review or additional quality control.
- Ensure all tests and procedures are performed in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of cytology techniques to assist in accurate specimen processing.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to quality assurance protocols.
- Evaluate specimen adequacy and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Cytotechnology (Required)
- Certifications:
- Cytologist (CT) - ASCP (Required)
- BLS - AHA (Required)
- Experience: Strong experience in both GYN and non-GYN screening. Experience with ROSE, EBUS, and FNA techniques preferred.
