Job Overview:
Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide imaging support for inpatient and emergency department care. The role requires flexibility for weekend shifts, standby call, and working with GE scanners. This is a high-impact role supporting a busy acute care environment.
Key Job Duties:
- Perform high-quality CT scans on inpatient and emergency department patients using GE equipment.
- Accurately position patients and ensure safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely diagnosis and care
- Document all procedures and patient interactions in the Epic charting system.
- Participate in weekend and on-call rotation as scheduled, ensuring availability during standby periods.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of recent CT Tech experience
- ARRT
- BLS
- Oregon State License (can submit with license pending)
- Charting System: Epic (Required)
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Special Equipment Experience: Proficiency with GE scanners
Shift & Scheduling Details:
- Shift: 3x12s Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Weekends: Required (Friday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Sat/Sun 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM)
- On-Call: One week of standby call required during the contract
- Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
- Floating: May be required to float to affiliated facilities nearby
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
