CT (Computed Tomography) 1+years recent experience required This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review. Shift Notes weekends only Charting System Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR Unit Notes Department: Radiology CT - Unit: Imaging Services Elmore Hospital - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT ( R ) (CT) - How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 1 CT unit Siemens Definition AS - Will they have to float/cover any other areas: May be asked to float to Xray during day shift and CT Tech covers xray for overnights. - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Routine outpatient, ED, Code Stroke, and more - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with Siemens systems. Prefers Venipuncture experience. Will accept first time travelers. - Average of scans/studies per day: Average of 18 in a 24 hour period. - EMR &/or PACS they use: EMR: EPIC. PACS: McKesson. - Department Specific Equipment: Siemens CT - Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Manager Michelle Chandler; Designated lead - Do they use RRAs: No - Radiologist in-house: Tele Radiologist coverage- available by phone; Have a couple Advacned Practitioners that coming during the week for procedures - Do they have to start IVs: Occasionally, but can rely on nursing - Shifts & Scheduling: Fri/Sat/Sun Night shift 7:30-8. CT: 24/7 coverage for hospital Has 9 hrs shift available M-Th and 12 hr shifts available. Typical staffing is 1 person per shift. Days: Varying start times of 0730 and 1200 Nights: Typically 12s from . Schedule made out by manager. - Weekend Requirements Variable; May be asked to work a full-time weekend shift Fri, Sat, Sun - Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday rotation especially if it falls on a Fri/Sat/Sun - Call or Standby requirement: Voluntary call for permanent staff; Travelers not typically asked to go into call rotation - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs, OR scrubs available - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1 week with preceptor to get through skills checklist - Additional Notes: Will expected to be able to work independently. They are a small hospital, have great department comrodary, and have been told by travelers that it's a great place to work.
