Position: Radiology / Cardiology

Facility: MUSC Health Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency & Imaging
Location: Denmark, SC 29042
Duration:13 weeks( Highly possible extension)
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Shift: Will work Friday-Sunday 2 Days/1 Night, Friday: 7a-7:30p at main campus in Orangeburg. Saturday: 7a-7:30p, and Sunday: 7p-7:30a at BBEMC with on-call rotation among staff at BBEMC only.
Is on-call REQ? Yes, on call rotation among staff at BBEMC only. If shifts are not filled when traveler is on call, then they will be required to fill the shift.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
About the Position
Position/Specialty: Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) - Hybrid Role (Dual Location)
Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
Requirements: Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography First-timers accepted: Yes National Certs REQ: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Certification of CPR required. American Heart Association (AHA) Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers BLS REQ: Yes COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Certification: BLS (AHA) CPR (AHA) ARRT SCRQSA State License Requirements: South Carolina
