Siemens Scanner, GE. Unit System:
EPIC, Visage - Screen if no Visage Description:
The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
Completion of an accredited CT or Radiologic Technology program Licensing/Certification:
ARRT(R) and ARRT (CT) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience:
Must have more than 500 bed Hospital Exp
2 Years Minimum Experience, but would prefer more years. CT Procedure Experience:
Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction Patient Diagnoses:
Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics Special Procedures / Unit Details:
This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and some trauma patients.
Very fast paced On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs.
Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs.
Third shift there is 2 techs.
Weekends we have 3 techs.
Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients. Skills:
Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU
GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a must
Some Trauma
Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage
