Level 1 trauma and Siemen's experience is required
Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol
Delivers patient care under scope of license / training
Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment to be used during the work day
Performs venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist
Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintains appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) requirements
Transport and transfer patients using established procedures according to departmental guidelines
Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations when performing patient exams

Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology
Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
Registered or eligible for certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent is required
2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses

Rotates within department, divisions and all off site clinics, by shifts as required and needed; cooperates with all personnel, promoting harmony within department
Assume responsibilities for on-call coverage and to remain flexible in all shift coverage and overtime situations as necessary

Staff will be required to float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with BWH as needed.

Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position. Within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
N95 - within 365 days to start date and updated annually. No fit testing(initial or updates) can be done onsite at any location.
A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required.
